Baptism
If you wish to have your child baptised please contact Fr Mark. You will be asked to attend a preparation evening and then choose the Sunday on which we can celebrate the baptism. For more information please see the Baptism Application, and informtion leaflet on the forms page. If you are going in to hospital You need to inform the staff on the ward that you are a Roman Catholic and would like to receive Holy Communion or see a priest. If you would like to receive the Sacrament of the Sick, please let Fr Mark know, if possible before you go into hospital. There are now fewer priests available for hospital ministry so seeing your priest before you go into hospital may be a help to them. Learning more about the Catholic Faith All year we support adults who would like to know more about our Faith. If you want to; become a Catholic make your First Holy Communion be confirmed come back to celebrating the sacraments support your children in their faith deepen your own faith Please contact Sr Dorothy on 0151 260 4431 or talk to Fr Mark. Piety Shop A shop within the church is open after the weekend Masses which sells cards, rosary beads, prayer cards and other goods, for various occasions. |
Holy Communion at Home
If you are unable to attend church through ill-health, please let us know and someone will be able to bring you Holy Communion at home. If you go into hospital you must inform a member of staff there if you wish to be visited by one of the hospital chaplains. If you or someone you know would like to be visited by one of our special ministers of Holy Communion, at home then please contact Sr Abina on 0151 263 0890. Gluten free hosts - are available for those who need them. Please let Fr. Mark know before Mass if you need a gluten free host. Marriage Our marriage preparation course runs some time in the first three months of the year over three sessions. Please let us know in good time, if you would like to be married in our Church. This is the sacrament that strengthens the gift of the Holy Spirit in us.
